Scavenger Hunt?

Time to start looking into those About Pages.  

To find the About Page first go to one of you favorite shops and on the left hand side column under Shop Info will be a blue About link.  This will take you to the About Page.
Have you seen how some of your favorite artists create their creations?  Interesting process!

The participating shops will be listed on January 1, 2014.

  It's all about introducing folks to our teammates and the process of 100% handmade. 

The Surprise is a Scavenger Hunt....

Did you know all Etsy shops are now being required to complete an "About" page so customers can get to know the creator better and to gain insight as to the authenticity of handmade creations.  

 Our next team promotion will be centered around the "About Page".  

This is were you get to "meet the faces of 100% handmade" through The Old Farmhouse Gathering Team.  We will be sharing links to our participating members "About Page".
Our promotion will start January 2 and run through January 16, 2014

New Member at the Old Farmhouse Gathering

The Old Farmhouse Gathering team would like to welcome our newest members at the old farmhouse, Nicki and her mother, Lisa and their Etsy Shoppe Woods Edge Creations.   Nicki tells us a little about herself.

"Hi! My name is Nicki and I look forward to getting to know you all.  I am just starting out in the handmade world with my mother Lisa, we started our own business in '09, Woods Edge Creations where we sell our handmade soaps, herbal salves, and soon to come hand sewn and hand crocheted items! I love country living and am trying to make my way back out in the country! I have always said that I was born way too late! I love horses, gardening, and most of all handmade creations! My sister and I grew up in the city until I was 13, at which time my family and I moved to the country and built a 1 bedroom A-frame cabin in the woods without running water or electricity and I loved it! We raised chickens, goats, rabbits and I was finally able to get my horse that I always dreamed of! I have electricity now, but am looking forward to moving back to the country with my husband and son Alex who is 17 months old!" Nicki has a blog, Sassy Soap Bubbles, where you can visit and find out more about this mother daughter venture.  Welcome Nicki and Lisa!
