Business News At The Old Farmhouse!

"My Favorite Things" Open For Business

Our group sister, JaNae Manley of "Signs of Patriotism" has embarked upon a business adventure in the form of a partnership with "My Favorite Things". A store that has newly opened in Leesville, Louisiana. Hoping to to do their part for revitalizing Louisiana, this group of gals opened this store offering a variety of wares, from different vendors, for household decor. JaNae's contribution is a big one in that she was responsible for constructing the furnishings in the store, and of course her own Primitive red room full of her handmade Primitive signs and other Primitive handmades from fellow artisans.
JaNae's red room is the "Primitive Room"

Visit her blog Kountry Bumpkins' Signs of Patriotism for more photos and info on the store and its' selection of wares offered.

Congratulations JaNae!
We wish you the best of luck in your grand endeavor.
Across the fence, we have some more exciting scoop on another of our group sisters here in the old farmhouse that we want to share with ya'll. Our country gal Nikki, of Country Primitives & Homespun Crafts, has opened her own business! Yep, she's in high cotton! The name of her new store, of course, is Country Primitives & Homespun Crafts, and is located in her home state of Florida. Now if you think I'm tellin' tales outta school, just hop on over to Nikki's blog Country Primitives and take a look at all the photos she has posted for us. I have to warn ya though, if you're a lover of all things Primitive, don't forget your pry bar, because you'll find it difficult to pull yourself away. Nikki has been sharing photos of her store and everything that will be available for purchase, and there are loads of Primitives. While you're visiting Nikki's blog, scroll on down to learn more about this country gal. Look her up on Facebook under Country Primitives.
Congratulations Nik!
We wish you the best of luck in your grand endeavor.
