Crafting Tips for Thursday

We all love crafting tips here are some for painters from Becky of Country Lane Folk Art.
1. To speed up the drying process I use a blow dryer, sure makes painting a lot quicker when you don't have to wait for things to dry!
2. If you want a smooth finish after base coating your project (because the paint will raise the wood grain) use a piece of brown paper bag or brown craft paper, it's the finest sand paper you can get! Sand over your project and it will be nice and smooth.
3. To make your own transfer paper, scribble a pencil over the back of your pattern that you have traced onto tracing paper, now put the pattern on your surface and trace over as usual, soft transfer lines!
As you can see Becky is a fantastic painter!!
Thanks for sharing your painting tips!
