Herb Spoon Tutorial

 Kris from Maple Street Shop has graciously shared a wonderful Herbal Spoon Tutorial with us.

 I took some wooden spoons floated them in coffee dye and sat them outside for a few days to make them look old.

I made simple fabric pouches and added herbs for a simmering potpourri spell for protecting your home.

You stir the herbs together with your hands, add them to 2 cups of water in a pan or potpourri pot, and stir clockwise in repetitions of 3, 5, 7 and 9 while envisioning your home as a safe and protected place.

I placed lavender in the fabric pouch and hung it on my wall for decoration after I was done.

I thought this was so neat! I spend half of my life in my kitchen. Why not bring in a little herbal kitchen witch magic.
