Feature Friday

Lucy, owner of the Etsy shop, Farmers Attic, has been crafting most of her life. The Farmer's Attic is a name that her husband felt should be the shop name because they live on a small farm in Northeast PA. What better place to find some treasures and relive fond memories?

She learned a lot of her sewing at an early age by watching a dear lady who babysat her over the summer months. She also taught herself to knit in the car after visiting and watching a relative in North Carolina. On the way back home to New Jersey, she had two rattail combs and a little yarn and that's how she taught herself to knit.

Lucy's favorite venue is quilting. She is inspired by all the beautiful fabrics that are available today. With all the beautiful designs from traditional to contemporary, there’s something for everyone. Techniques are always changing which makes the art fun and exciting

You can find Lucy in a number of places:
Stop by and visit her. She's always open and loves company!
