Feature Friday

Wow!!! Painted Panache by JY Wheeler is a shop you have to visit!!! Her first love is porcelain painting (china painting). She also likes to paint ACEO's/Artist Trading cards in watercolors, acrylic, colored pencil and pastels. Most of her subjects are from photographs, many of which she has taken herself.

Painted Panache by Joann Y Wheeler chose that name because that's the name she's had her business under since she began painting porcelain in 1986. Panache is defined as distinctive and stylish elegance. The word seemed to fit especially with her handpainted porcelain.

Joann's shop features handpainted porcelain (china painting), decorative painting on wood and glass, and miniature art (ACEO's) in various mediums. Joann has crafted for at least 30 years and is inspired by nature. She loves to paint flowers and animals. God inspires her as well. She enjoys doing religious paints as well. Joann does tend to favor her handpainted porcelain because she believes it is one of those things that you can pass down for generations to come.

You can visit Joann at a number of sites. Just click on the links below:
